The resort is beautiful, nice spa and good restaurant. Staying in the hotel, you can use all the resort facilities, and the driver is readily available to tak you there - 2 min drive.
Make sure you don't confuse the hotel with the resort. We booked the hotel by mistake - from the EddeSands site, thinking we are booking the resort, so had high expecations... Were quite surpirsed to find a very modest - way too modest - hotel in the middle of the road. The strong smell of insecticide in the room was close to unbearable. Rooms are very small, but clean.

The general location close to the old town of Byblos, breakfast, helpful staff
The beach and the resort is several hundred meters from the hotel - I found no reference to that in the advertising materials; room was very small

Great location near sea side and Byblos the old city is walking disctance. Great access to private beach and pools. Food on site was very good.
Stayed in the "hotel" part not the resort part of the complex. The hotel is up away from the water and resort and although there was a constant shuttle running it was misleading when we booked. It was a short walk but not a pleasant one from the hoel to the resort. The hotel was definetly 3 star but Clean!

The Resort is lovely and has great facilities - the pools. However the l'Hotel is not in the same location and there is a 7 min walk down to it. We had a nice seaview.
L'Hotel is advertised as Edde Sands Resort, you would expect the same level of service and same comfort. L'Hotel is no more than an average 3 star hotel. The bathroom is old in style and very low roof. Electricity was on and off - but this is very common in Lebanon in general. I would stay again for the Resort facilities, however the hotel itself is overpriced - Taxi man said to get a different hotel and pay into the resort 20 dollars for the day.

The Hotel has an amazing staff, and very close to Edde Resort and the Old City .
what I didn't like is the Noise that we can hear from other rooms (e.g: babies crying ) , Doors must be made in a way to make our stay calm and comfortable .

The location is perfect. Walking distance to jbeil.
Elhotel does not have any facility like pool or a gem. However you can use the resort facility with no problem.

The restaurant on the rooftop is very romantic for dinner. The old souk is so near and one can have a walk aroud the hotel. Breakfast is delicious.
